Description

Ultimate Tiramisu Brownies combine rich fudgy chocolate brownies with espresso-soaked layers and a creamy mascarpone topping for a decadent dessert inspired by classic tiramisu.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Brush cooled brownies evenly with brewed espresso.
  7. In a bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  8. In another bowl, mix mascarpone and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  10. Spread mascarpone layer over brownies.
  11. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing.
