Description
Ultimate Tiramisu Brownies combine rich fudgy chocolate brownies with espresso-soaked layers and a creamy mascarpone topping for a decadent dessert inspired by classic tiramisu.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
- Brush cooled brownies evenly with brewed espresso.
- In a bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
- Spread mascarpone layer over brownies.
- Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing.
