Crispy, buttery garlic bread bowls filled with saucy spaghetti for a fun, comforting twist on classic pasta night—perfect for parties or family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 small round bread loaves (sourdough or Italian rolls)
- 4 cups cooked spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off each bread loaf and hollow out the centers to create bowls.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush the inside and edges of each bread bowl generously.
- Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly crisp.
- In a pot, heat marinara sauce and toss with cooked spaghetti. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill each toasted bread bowl with spaghetti mixture.
- Top each with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake again for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Toast bowls longer if you want a crunchier texture.
- Add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage to the sauce for a heartier version.
- Use garlic knots instead of bowls for mini versions.
