Description
A fun, indulgent recipe where crispy garlic bread bowls are filled with saucy spaghetti and melted cheese—perfect for family dinners or party-style serving.
Ingredients
- 4 small round bread loaves (Italian or sourdough rolls)
- 4 cups cooked spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut off the tops of each bread loaf and hollow out the inside to form bowls.
- Combine melted butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush generously onto the inside of each bread bowl.
- Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, until lightly crisp.
- Heat marinara sauce in a pot and toss with the cooked spaghetti. Season to taste.
- Fill each toasted bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Make the bowls extra crispy by baking them a few minutes longer before filling.
- Add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage for a meaty version.
- Use garlic knots or slider rolls for mini appetizer-sized bowls.
