Description

A fun, indulgent recipe where crispy garlic bread bowls are filled with saucy spaghetti and melted cheese—perfect for family dinners or party-style serving.

Ingredients

  • 4 small round bread loaves (Italian or sourdough rolls)
  • 4 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut off the tops of each bread loaf and hollow out the inside to form bowls.
  3. Combine melted butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush generously onto the inside of each bread bowl.
  4. Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, until lightly crisp.
  5. Heat marinara sauce in a pot and toss with the cooked spaghetti. Season to taste.
  6. Fill each toasted bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make the bowls extra crispy by baking them a few minutes longer before filling.
  • Add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage for a meaty version.
  • Use garlic knots or slider rolls for mini appetizer-sized bowls.
