Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned; drain excess grease.
- Spread cooked sausage evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk pancake mix, milk, eggs, and maple syrup if using.
- Pour pancake batter evenly over the sausage.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set in the center.
- Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
