Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 cup black olives, chopped
  • 1 cup green olives, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped olives, green onions, butter, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes to brown the top.
  6. Slice and garnish with parsley before serving.
