Description

A simple marinated cheese appetizer layered with salami and green olives, tossed in an herbed vinaigrette for an easy and flavorful party bite.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz salami, sliced into quarters
  • 1 cup green olives, drained
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cheddar, Monterey Jack, salami pieces, and green olives.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the cheese mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
  5. Stir before serving and serve chilled or at room temperature with toothpicks or crackers.
