Ingredients

  • 1 English cucumber, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 6 oz smoked salmon, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp capers (optional)
  • Lemon zest for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Lay cucumber slices on a serving platter and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pipe or spoon a small dollop of the cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
  4. Top each with a piece of smoked salmon.
