Ingredients
- 300 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian herbs until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and mix well.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
