Ingredients
- 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- Optional sides: rice, roasted potatoes, or sautéed vegetables
Instructions
- Pat steak dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak and sear for 3–5 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to medium and top steak with butter.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the steak.
- Add sliced jalapeños on top.
- Cover skillet briefly until cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with desired sides.

- Use halal-certified beef if required.
- Adjust jalapeño quantity for preferred heat level.
