Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake layer)
- 1 large egg (for cheesecake layer)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
- Dollop cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the cheesecake into the brownie batter.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until set but slightly fudgy in the center.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
