Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chunks or nuts


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth; let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until thick and glossy.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and melted chocolate mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Stir in chocolate chunks or nuts if using.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes
