A decadent dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with spiced apple filling and a buttery oat crisp topping for the ultimate fall-inspired treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Pour cheesecake batter over the crust.
- In a separate bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Spoon apple mixture evenly over the cheesecake batter.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Cut in cold butter until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes until center is set.
- Turn off oven, crack door, and cool cheesecake for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples for best results.
- Chill overnight for clean slices.
- Serve with whipped cream or caramel sauce if desired.
